Homemade Salsa

My favorite salsa recipe

1. Put the tomatoes, tomatillos, and peppers on a pan and cook them in the smoker until done.

2. Add the the tomatoes, tomatillos, jalapeño peppers, Serrano peppers, and garlic to the blender and blend on low until desired texture is reached.

3. Pour into a bowl and add the other ingredients (onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and sugar). Mix well.

4. Chill the salsa in the refrigerator before serving.

Ingredients

Blend these ingredients together.

• 6 roma tomatoes (smoked)

• 3 tomatillos (smoked)

• 1-2 jalapeño peppers (smoked)

• 1 Serrano pepper (smoked)

• 2-3 cloves garlic

Mix these ingredients in by hand.

• 1/2 onion, diced

• 1 tbsp salt

• 1/2 teaspoon sugar

• Juice from 1/2 lime

• Fresh cilantro to taste
